Hi Dakka,

I have amassed quite a collection of AT-43 Models and wish to sell them, but am unsure of what they are worth. I have two armies that surpass 10,000 points. I will post pictures of my armies, I did rough retail prices, the UNA were over $1,500 and the Red Blok were over $1,000. The Red Blok are on eBay at the moment, but I think I may need to modify the price.

I also have smaller armies of Karmans and Therains, but they won't be worth too much.

It's seen as a dead game.
Therefore won't be worth as much as it might have been when it was a going concern.

With the flood of AT-43 stuff that hit the market after the game collapsed, I can't see you getting anywhere near what you paid for it (if you paid the "new" prices for it, even discounted).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Though I've noticed people converting things for use with Dust Warfare. Perhaps look into that.

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!

What I see is a lot of conversion material for IG.

Go on eBay, see what other lots are selling for, and compete.

Your collection is quite impressive but sadly not remotely close to retail value. The official US distributor for the line (was it FFG?) absolutely fire-sale dumped their stock when the company started having problems. I bought a bunch of stuff for 75% off (not 75% of retail but 75% OFF of retail) from them and so did alot of people. The remaining stock in my FLGS has just sat there without selling even at 50% off for almost a year.

You've got a load of Fire Toads, one of the rarer units out there, those might sell the fastest.

You've got two great armies there, all spruced up with nice bases and stuff.

I would be tempted to keep them and play them. The rules are fine. You've got enough for two factions. You can probably still find Karmans on sale if you want to add a third faction. Alternatively, you can download the army books and substitute other models for another faction. Cogs would be fairly easy to substitute with some kind of small Gundam models, for example.

If you are intent on selling the armies you can either split them into individual lots or sell as complete armies.

You'll probably get more as small lots, though it will be more work, and you'll end up with some units you can't sell. There are people who will buy AT-43 either for its own sake or for use in other games. As someone said, either Red Blok or White Stars is the basis of a very nice IG counts as army for 40K.

If you want to sell as a complete army you could consider taking them to a wargame show with a Bring & Buy table.

Price
The market price is of course what someone will pay for them.

My gut feeling is you could get about 40% of the original retail price. I would pay up to 50% personally but the postage to the UK is probably prohibitive. The US is a large market, though. I am sure you will find someone.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

I dont care what everyone else says about AT-43

I love them when they came out, I love them just as much today.

I will give them a very good home :3

Thanks for the replies.

I am not so worried about retail price, I paid something around $400 and did a few trades for all of my armies.

LunaHound, if you want them, PM me

I like the UNA so probably will be keeping them for now along with the Therains so I can game with my brother. The Red Blok are going for college money.

Up one day at $500 starting and there are 7 watchers so far so maybe I can sell it for more than what I paid.

Maybe the watchers are just wondering if it sells so they can sell their own.
