I'm not sure if this has been asked before but does anyone know of a retailer for the liquid gold line i cant seem to find them. (even on ebay)
I'd prefer a U.S. based retailer but at this point i'll take what i can get.

the warstore and scale hobbyist is where i found mine. They are alittle hard to find on the warstore, look under vallejo model color and for old gold alcohol based( they are all named alcohol based on that site), I think its page 3 of the model color section.

I was having the same issue in Canada and I ended up calling the number listed on Vallejo's website for my country. They were excellent and gave me a list of suppliers in my area.

They must be thinned with alcohol only, water will cause them to rust/oxidize.
I've seen recommendations that you use 93% alcohol to thin them. i think lower percentages contain water as an additive.

that's because they are alcohol based. says so right on the bottle. Thin and clean your brushes with rubbing alcohol ( isopropyl 91% is what i use). Never let the brush touch water or get water in the pot. In fact do what i do and dedicate a set of brushes( synthetics are recommended) and a little plastic palette just for the liquid golds. Shake the hell out of them until the pigment on the bottom has come loose. They aren't really that hard to use if you just remember No water. And for gods sake don't lick your brush!
