I'm thinking of following the guide for painting yellow guardians, or should they be more mustard yellow?

an easy way would be to paint them white and heavily wash them with either the yellow glaze, or the yellow shade (cant remember which)

Casandora Yellow is the shade, Lamenter's is the glaze. It might be best to use the shade first and then glaze it for a richer mid-tone. Just make sure you don't lay the Shade on too thick, as the orange can get very intense. Good luck!

Not my post, but I have to say it's a great way to get a really sweet yellow. I've tried the Casandora yellow on straight white, and it does not look good imho. This guy's Ishbanti Bone/Army Painter Bone base with the Lamenter's Glaze makes a fab imp fist and should make a great Lamenter.

I've resisted the urge to start an Imperial Fists army using that method for some time now...... but after seeing that example...... so a trip to the FLGS is in my future today!

Initial success, or total failure.
