I'm currently working on my fanfic. I was working on my slaanesh fallen inquisitor and the strangest though occurred to me. Do CSM need to eat? If not I assume so slaanesh followers eat for the pleasure of it.

Of course they do, they are human, so sometimes the armour of the Chaos Space Marines comes off as they need to shower or maintain the gear, not to mention having sex.

Course they eat.... but WHAT they eat... I have no clue

I would also imagine, that on some level, they are capable of being sustained by their patron deity, or chaos in general. But I have more of a mind to sustain that they live and breath just as regular loyal astartes do.

Their sources of food are a tougher one tho. The simplest and most straight foward answer is that they collect rations during raids, or even commerce with other renegade astartes and human conglomerates who care not from where the moolah comes XD

Well not all CSM can Plague marines and Thousand Sons cannot, Plague Marines armour is fused to them and Thousand Sons armour is sealed shut.

Marines are sterile so unless Slaanesh blesses someone with a wang they're not getting much business time.

Where was I? I forget? Oh yeah, SM have dangly bits; they work fine, but they are discouraged from using them in the same manner that Sisters are discouraged from using their womanly parts. Most Marines aren't interested in sex, as it distracts them from kicking @$$ for the Emperor. Except for possibly the Space Wolves, who are based on vikings, who had a lot of sex, historically speaking.

I think I actually sort of agree with him, and also the sperm of the Space Marines are likely less than healthy. Their spit is acid, and the blood is poisonous, so I don't wanna know what their sperm is about.

Sterile =/= Castrated. Besides I'm sure the Warp & Slaanesh can 'affect' that area.

It's possible. Whilst in the Warp, because 'time' there is not the same concept as in the material galaxy, they may not need to - the warp can probably sustain them easily, but outside of the Warp? They would need something to sustain them though whether their patron God sustains them or they just eat rations like their Loyalist counter-parts will depend upon individual interpretation. CSMs would still be able to eat & digest almost anything thanks to their implants whilst L&TD would need to find something edible - not necessarily palatable but edible. Perhaps followers of Khorne might stoop to eating their enemies/fellows with the concept of 'eating my enemy grants me their strength & knowledge) or merely just to survive.

Really depends how you want to interpret their needs.

I thought it said in one of the chaos codex's that Space Marines who renounce their oath to the Emperor are quick to engage in "all that was forbidden to them, including the most base and debased pleasures" or something along those lines. I know at least Emperors Children and other Slaneshi dedicated Chaos Marines have orgies and the like, the real question i think is "WITH WHO?" besides one another I mean

I kind of fee like Jason Lee's character from Mallrats, always wondering what's going on with a fictional character's junk.

What would even happen if a Marine procreated? Do any of their enhancements modify their DNA? Hell what if a Primarch procreated? New sources for geneseed sampling? At least they answered what happens when the Emperor procreated...

Ehm I assume they should be nude under the power-armour, especially if they shall go long-term. You know poop and piss must go somewhere, or they all get massive infection, unless more hilarious solutions are at play.

To be serious, it's likely more like the astronaut-suits, so they have the answer somewhere I assume.

As for the Space Marines, blood = poison, spit = acid, sperm = I don't wanna know.

It does alter their DNA, but it would not be viable sperm. It wouldn't be copmpatable with normal human DNA.

Sterile, not impotent. The power armor does away with the need to use the bathroom, and recycles waste into a nutrient paste, or possibly burns it for fuel in the fusion reactor.
