Anyone have experience using the SWM pigments and washes? Trying to find out if they are good or not compared to the GW and P3 washes.

Check out Les Bursley's wash recipe. It requires a bit of an upfront cost but it's worth it given the flexibility you gain in making your own washes. As for the pigments, I have them but haven't had a chance to try them yet. I've heard good things though.

SWM washes are the same one that Les used to make. I have a few and I think they work great. The pigments are fantastic as well. I highly recommend the metallic iron pigment... very useful.

I have used secret weapon washes/pigments and really recommend them. They work really well and the pigments have really added a lot to my minis.

They are what I use on my models and I'd certainly recommend them to others without hesitation.

The washes are great - I mixed up some of them myself after Les' recipe and the work excellent.

Are the pigments the ones that Les used to offer, as well? I have three rust shades and soot black from back when he offered them through APJ and all four work wonderfully. Haven't tried his wash recipe, but based on first-hand reports and his general reputation, I'd trust them to be good.

I'll echo the majority and say that if you're considering buying some SWP or making your own based on Les Burley's recipes (found on awesomepaintjob.com), you won't be disappointed at all.
Depending on where you shop for your art supplies you're looking at roughly:
$2CDN | Distilled Water
$9CDN | Matte Medium
$7CDN | Acrylic ink (per bottle)
$2CDN | Plastic Squeezer bottle
So for roughly 20$ you get enough media to make washes for you and all your friends for the next 3 years. Very much worth it.
