Wow, quite an investment there bud ! For that money you can deffo get a 2500-3000 points worth of an army ! Anyways, the 2 Battleforces give you a solid army already - 2 Arks, 40 warriors, 10 Immortals and 10 Scarabs. Furthermore I'd suggest focusing on getting some mobility - Destroyers and Wraiths are awesome. Other than that get ur HQ and Royal Court. I'd drop the Monolith but that's just me. Good luck !

Get 'em boyz!

Dakka dakka dakka!

First of all, buy from The Warstore! You'll net 20% off and save some money. Secondly, I'm not sure you need all those HQ choices. Stick with one or two. Having options is nice, but when you're just starting an army you should start with something a little more basic. Getting some Destroyers for mobile firepower is also a good idea.

That's an awful lot of models!

For starting, get a Codex and build a small list. Buy the items off of that.

DO NOT BUY AN ARMY YOU AREN'T SURE ABOUT. I have seen it so many times. If you aren't sure then nobody's forcing you.

I agree, drop some of the HQ choices and fill out some of the core units, like another box (or three) of wraiths, or some anni/CC barges (which convieniently come with res orb overlords).

Miniature Market is actually a little cheaper, not much, but when you are ordering a crapton all at once it certainly helps.

What happens if you spend all that money and decide that you don't like Necrons?

By the looks of it you play Tyranids, I would maybe buy the Necron codex first and proxy for a few games to see if you like how they play. If you do, then go and spend your hard earned wonga.

Start small is always a good idea.
