As a big fan of dragonforce I was saddned by the news of ZP Theart's departure in 2010.
Now ZP Theart has a new band! I am I sound pretty awesome in the first song they released.
I like it so much I decided to make a video with the lyrics on :3 (also to help me remember them, I will eventually cover this song )

Are you sure that's a different band? It sounds 99% the same as Dragonforce to me. Kinda like when Maynard Kennan started A Perfect Circle, which was basically Tool light. And to complicate matters more, Dragonforce will probably just get another front man who sounds the same.
Im 100% sure its another band Also they are going abit more into the heavy side of metal and not the power metal route that Dragonforce is on.
Dragonforce do have a new singer and he sounds nothing like ZP Theart. He is an amazing singer with a great vocal range. You can hear that just in the intro to this song:

Have any of you lot seen them live? Its horriterribad! Yes, 3 types of bad stuck together. Total studio band if Ive ever seen/heard one. Just awful noise.

The music that comes out of the studio is bad enough.

MJK didn't start APC. That was Billy Howerdel. MJK started Puscifer. They sound very little like Tool, IMHO.

True, but sometimes APC does have that swagger of Tool in their tunes. But definitely, Puscifer (Whom I fething LOVE) sounds nothing like Tool what so ever
Dragonforce are not a studio band at all. If you actually took time to listen to them live then you would realise that.

I have listened to them live. They are fething terrible live. Far FAR worse live then CD, which is saying a lot because I cant stand them on that either. Their live shows are a garbled mess at best
If you are referring to the Inhuman Rampage tour as the 'garbled mess' then I would agree with you. However it is not the bands fault, it was the sound technicians fault for not tuning the guitars and not monitoring sound properly.
