Hi everybody!

I did some stuff. I'm used to lukewarm reactions to my models but I think these rule.

I would agree so far they do rule. Nice work I really love your bases.

True, they aren't 'Eavy Metal, but I would be proud to own that unit. Top Notch!

Thanks, the bases were fun to make. The kit was great to paint.

Looks like a job well done. My only criticism would really be that it looks like they might benefit from a little more shading. It could very well just be the pics, but the skin on the marines and their armor looks like they're missing a little depth.

Otherwise, like I said: looks like a nice unit and certainly worthy of being proud of!

I think the photos were pretty terrible to begin with, I had to play with the levels a-lot. That said, I don't think I shaded the skin as much as I would have liked. I did do more than just a base and wash with the armor but its pretty washed out.

I went with the new GW paints - figured I'd give them a shot while I painted the new models.

I based with The Fang, left that in the crevices and cracks as well as on the inside of the armor, under the arms, etc. Then I washed badab/nuln oil, honestly don't remember, and then followed up with the shadow grey replacement and the space wolves grey replacement for the highlights.
