Video or Audio.
I'm looking for a really well thought out cast on the subject of 40k and Wargaming in general.
Do any of you have a favorite?
Beast of War comes to mind as an example.

There was a lengthy thread on 40k podcasts I just posted in the other day, but it's not coming up on the first few pages of either Dakka Discussions or 40k General. Strange.

I always recommend The Independent Characters, since it covers every aspect of 40k. It covers tactics, rulebook reviews, BL novels, painting, fluff, gaming and battle report type things, and it's very professionally done. They also do a great job of making it feel like you're listening to your buddies in your gaming group talking shop.

I've tried listening to a few others but none have really grabbed me. The ICs have some video content as well, with some video battle reports and full casts of games. They live broadcasted the big tournament tables at Adepticon this year too.

Second the Independent Characters, it's the only 40k podcast I listen to anymore.

I like the Overlords myself.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

Thirded. I listen to several (graphic design gives plenty of podcast time), but I like the even temper and considerate attitudes of the guys at IC.

I enjoy the independent characters as well, but sometimes when I'm painting I enjoy a more laid back pod cast with more humor, such as life after the cover save, or imperial vox cast. Turn 8 is a great new one and their battle reports are alot of fun to listen to.

I'm really into the background of 40k and I listen to DeepStrike Radio religiously while I paint.
I also listen to the Heroic 28's every once in a while.
Never really could get into the Independent Characters but to each their own I suppose.
