Wait, bow and axe are under the Horsemans profile. Does this mean I need to break up the horsemen and take warriors with axes?

You can split it however you like but you can only have 33% (rounding up) of your models (not including heroes) with bows

Looks good but is there much point to having them all as shield and spear easterlings??

Why did you not give them Pikes I rememberd now, since you can use both pike & shield without any penalties, and yes as Easterlings is acctualy dose have that effect of making kebabas of anything that come close

I imagine because he only has a dozen easterlings trond, that ain't really enough to make a two deep phalanx and still have a good front.

Just had second thoughts about your list. If the enemy is to have enough bows, say about 10 he'll whittle your block down and then turn to face your cavalry full on and endure and counter. If he shoots your cavalry he will kill enough so they don't have any real impact and then have the numbers to counter the easterling block. I think you should get rid of the king and have a foot cheiftan and more foot soldiers.

That is most definitly true Scottie, I keep forgetting I have way to many of the buggers. Also consider investing in a Dragon Knigth

I have a dozen with spears about 8 with board and sword and just a wee 6 with bows.
