I came across this sentence pertaining to tank shocking GK paladins and was wondering where it says anything like this in the rules that they automatically fail further tests?

"they only need to fail *once.* After the first failure, they automatically fail all morale tests--including further tank shocks."

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

There is an exception and that is if you assault them, they get a chance to regroup or die.

It is pretty hilarious to keep tank shocking someone; you can walk them off the board in one phase.

Thanks guys found it, just one thing when you say "keep tank shocking someone; you can walk them off the board in one phase" would this not require multiple tanks or can you keep tank shocking as long as they fall back further than 6"?

He means with multiple tanks. Say you have 3 tanks in position to shock a unit, if they fail the first morale check, you can shock again with the second tank (causing another fall back) and then the third so long as you can hit their new position. You can cause as many fallback moves as you have tanks that can hit them.

Hmm. This sounds rather unappealing. So technically, 8 wave serpents can take out 3 squads of 10-man GH in one movement phase? Plus, moving that far on the board just sounds like a rule over-using for me.

Technically possible, although very unlikely. You have to get them to break in the first place.

That being said, tank shock is a VERY effective tactic in the current game edition. I use it every chance I can.
