So im making my army and its sitting on my modeling desk and i cant help but think to my self i need a bunker or a command center to center them all around, does any one have some good guides on how to make bunker, command center, fortress walls, ect ect, i want to build a base basically now.

What army? How much are you willing to spend, are you more interested in scratchbuilding most of it, etc.

That eliminates the Forge World Imperial Strongpoint then!

Do you want it to look like a permanent command facility or an ad hoc piece?

The first one is fairly uncommon for the Astartes, as they will usually have their own ships in orbit acting as command centers.

There is a picture in the rule book which shows a space marine command bunker. It seems to be converted out of a Rhino (makes sense, thunderhawks can transport it like that).

I guess sorta hoc pieces, something like an outpost or a staging ground, not so much of a fortress with huge walls. A good example of what I want is somthing kind alike this

or a defensive like kinda with walls like this

i just need to know HOW to make them like good guides

Something like that would be fairly easy to do using nothing but plasticard, I'd think. Use a heavy thickness and call it a day.

3rd ed rulebook had templates for a bunker.
(One of the main reasons I still have it).

I've got a scanned page somewhere.

I like that one a lot, I really would like something like that to show off my army instead of it just sitting on a lowly shelf

I'm probably not allowed to publicly post copyright materials that I don't own the copyrights on here.

Board rules and all.
Nor can I link to where you might find them - in a public forum.

Will see what I can do, given those restrictions.

I had to use photoshop for work for too many years. I now hate it with a passion (matched only by my hate of magic the gathering).
You could try googling "bunker templates" if you don't have the patience to wait for me to get them done.

4th one down, the "marcusknotts" one. This is a good set.

Otherwise, patience is a virtue.

Lost in Cyberspace.

The following link was based off some really simple patterns originally posted in WD184 (Which were simple and easy to make, as a 15 yr old me found out and promptly demolished the house cardboard supply), looks like the chap posting it has made a better job of it, though.

Hope that's suitably inspiring for you.
