During the shooting phase can my predator pivot to fire both of its lascannon sponsons on one target (if it has not moved during the movement phase)?

Note that the pivot occurs before firing any weapons. You would not be able to fire one sponson and then pivot to fire the other sponson.

Does that really give you permission to pivot during the shooting phase? It just says that if your only movement was to pivot on the spot it will not count as movement for purposes of how many weapons you can fire. Walkers are given specific permission to pivot during the shooting phase, but I don't see where other vehicles get this same allowance.

No, you may not pivot during the shooting phase UNLESS you are a walker.

You may only pivot during hte movement phase, which alone does not count as moving. This is an explicit change from 4th ed.

Agreed. Shame a Predator can't split sponson fire on different targets like a broadside

How are Black Templar's Predators different?

They can do that if they buy PotMS(its still a generic vehicle upgrade)

So can their Vindicators.

I've never noticed that! I don't know any Black Templar players, but it's nice to see an older army that has an advantage. Be it a small one.

Yeah, I missed the shooting phase part of that. My bad.
