I was listening to Anaal Nathrakh's Virus Bomb and thought is there another bands that sing about Warhammer in general? I know Bolt Thrower does, but i haven't heard about any others
Here's the song i was talking about
the chorus is something like this (copypasted from youtube comment, AN doesn't publish their lyrics)
ignite the very air
betrayal burning and an atmosphere in flames
ignite the very air
this ancients last and distant virus
I think warhammer and 40k universes would be great source for lyrics and themes, i want to hear more!

I'm not seeing anything especially Warhammer about those lyrics - not without reaching - and warhammer has borrowed from sooooo many sources that many things can be linked to it.
I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
GW record label also carried Wraith and D-Rok (who invented Noise Marines.)
"There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious—makes you so sick at heart—that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all" Mario Savio

Yeah but if you read the fluff about horus' virus bomb, you can be sure the song is about that
They're an Australian band with a style similar to that of Insomnium. It was noted that several of the band members are actively involved within the hobby.
My CD broke years back, so all the dark gods bless the miracle that is Youtube

Carnifex is latin for butcher (IIRC), so even if they're named Carnifex, that doesn't mean they're related to 40k.
However, they could be. I don't know.
