Afternoon All,

I have 10 terminators that I have painted

now in the end, it seems like I am only going to use 3 in my army as a termicide squad, maybe 5 depending on the situation. I was looking into the possibility of converting some of these into obliterators, as those models are rather expensive. These are metal terminators, which I know is going to make the entire process super tricky, and a lot of the guides/steps out there really don't seem like they are going to work with metal terminators. I have a ton of bits and pieces laying around, and was really looking into the parts that I had from nids that I have (a few arms, etcs) and possessed CSM, along with extra weapons that I had, but I'm not really quite sure how to get that mutated/weapons going everywhere look. It's a bit of an undertaking, and curious if anyone has done it before, thanks!

Really, all you need to do, is stick a few weapons on. And greenstuff and job done.

More specifically, I would recommend, placing a couple of weapons (barrels, you don't want whole Lascannons or Heavy bolters sticking out) on one army (the one with the bolter) using green stuff, to make them kinda blend in. You should then probably use some more green stuff in various places (not everywhere), detail it a little (can't really explain properly, you'll need to find examples, i'm sure there are plenty around) and it should look like they are mutating (not sure if thats the right word). It should work fine on the metal terminators. If you have any possessed bits, they could be used as well.
