So..question on Fireteams

so i was looking at the infinity wiki

here is the line from the wiki
"To create a Linked Team, the minimum of troops required is 3, and the maximum that can be used is 5"

so i am thinking yes it takes 3 to create the team but what if one of the three dies? the other two remain as a team right? cause it only takes three to create.

and i couldn't find any mention of a min requirement for it to still be a fireteam. (or maybe i missed it

)

so anyone know anything?

It's not just "create". To have a linked team, you need three to five troops in that team. If you only have two... no more team.

If a 3 man team is dropped to less than three for whatever reason, the link is broken and CANNOT be reformed.

Also, you are still constrained by the AVA . So if the AVA for a troop is 4 then that is the max you can have in the Link Team.

Usually, yes.
However note that Link Teams don't necessarily have to consist exclusively of one troop type.

Knights Hospitallers and Knights of Santiago have AVA:4, but they may link with Joan d'Arc to make a 5-man Fireteam.
Same with Wulvers at AVA:4 and William Wallace.
Same with the Hafza and being about to join anyone in the uberlink-happy Qapu Khalqi.
There's probably others.
