This isn't a hardcore competitive list, it's just me using the models I have to get to 1850 while still trying to be as competitive as I can with what I own. I know it's not much, but I was hoping to get a little advice in tweaking it a bit to make it somewhat better. Any ideas? I'd prefer to keep it as assault oriented as possible. The only other models I own not in the list are a Chaos Dreadnought, 5x Chaos Terminators with Power Fists (AoBR converts), and one more Obliterator. So tell me what you think...

A few observations:

Which unit is the Chaos Lord going in to? He should definitely ride in a Rhino and get forward into combat as quickly as possible.

Give the Daemon Prince MoS and Lash. It will help tremendously getting your KBs and Chaos Lord safely into CC.

5 Chosen with Power Fists? That's a new spin. Wouldn't Outflanking Chosen with Meltas get better results? The points saved could buy a 3rd Oblit.

2 CSM squads without Rhinos? I would get them into boxes if at all possible.

I'd take a Dread over bikes.

I still think a 3rd Oblit and MoS/Lash on the Prince will make a worthwhile difference.

I'd drop the Chosen and one Berzerker and take the Bikes from the first list. Then make the Lord have Mark of Khorne and a Daemon Weapon and stick him with the Berzerkers. The Bikes are going to do you more good than 5 Chosen in a Rhino with 3 Power Fists even if they are flanking.

Having played a terminator chaos lord /w MoK and DW very recently, I'd advise against him. His performance were very very underwhelming. Next game, I plan on taking a DLC MoK lord. That way, I can even add a combi melta on this guy.

Apart from this, I kinda like your second list. I'd side with revlax and take bikers over chosen. That way you can pop your greater daemon wherever you want.
