I'm in the process of basing my Fallschirmjager company but I'm having problems identifying figs. If someone is familiar with Battlefronts GBX34 could you help answer these questions?

1. The box came with 6 prone machinegunners. Are these guys simply figs for the company with no special meaning? Some have three legs others have two.

2. One fig has I believe a machinegunner propping his weapon on a small wall. Does that fig have a loader or is that prone fig suppose to be a light mortar? I can't tell.

3. I didn't get enough bases for panzerschrek team. Box came with 4 small bases. Once I do the 4 command squads I have no extras.

4. Are the panzerknackers the figs that appear to be carrying a single granade with multiple heads?

I know answering this is tough without pics but I don't have access to my. Computer right now to provide links. Any help greatly appreciated.

Could this link be of some assistance?

Panzerschrek team is supposed to have a medium base (the art on the back side of box represents the base sizes for its contents). So check it out - You should be having 19 medium bases in Your box.

You should be using those prone machinegunners on medium infantry stands to represent MG teams.

Panzerknacker is the guy in the middle

Thx Cain that's a big help. I was actually closer then I thought. The set comes with two styles of Mg loaders and coming out ofthe mold the ammo feed goes straight up and doesn't line up with the Mg.

The panzerschreck on the middle base explains the extra one and the image you provided was what I thought was a panzerknacker.

The only question left is what's the 2 piece fig behind the wall? A sniper? I didn't see that fig in the link.

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

The MG figures are there because FJ are Rifle/MG teams. Each stand gets a MG42.

All of the MG42s have loaders except the guys on the little wooden walls. The loaders are on their sides with ammo belts in their hands(that connect to the ammo feed)

Perhaps it needs a little bending to better align it with MG?

Ok. So the guy kneeling behind the bricks is also a Mg. Now that you mention it, I noticed a few figs also carrying an Mg over their shoulder. I'll just make sure I spread all the Mg figs out so no two are on one base.

Thanks for all the help.

Does every stand get a MG?

I thought for Rifle/MG Teams every other stand gets a MG? Still new and I am currently working on basing the same Company, so I just want to make sure I get it right.

Should be every other base.

MG have a mg on every base.
R/MG one on every other base. FJ this is odd with the 9 bases per platoon. 4-5 would be fine either way.
R might have one or two MG per platoon.

The important thing is that you as the player know what each unit has and can keep track of them as the units get intermingled.

Yeah, I was looking over the book and it looks like the fancy black/white graphic might even have 1 MG per 3 stands.

Just finalized my list, now to get to gluing.
