Ok...So i want to run a Zahndrekh army(Fluff) , But im not sure which to use...It says hes part of the Sautekh dynasty(imotekh's). But he is painted white...So does this mean his army is painted similar to him, or just like the imotekh's warriors?

I wouldn't necessarily say he's painted white as he appears more shiny silver. If you want to go with the sautekh dynasty then go with sautekh colors. I personally went with a color scheme that I liked, even though I chose a dynasty with a color scheme I really didn't care for it. So really if your looking for strict fluff then go with Sautekh colors otherwise paint what you feels is going give you an impressive look on the field... I went black with white highlights and red gause and power charges... have fun.

It could go either way. Or more, honestly.

The Necrons are very feudal, so you can take some cues from the way real world armies work.

Vassal armies may choose to either don their liege's colors, or their own. Either is valid.

What's more, individual units may do the same. A unit that has distinguished themselves in battle may be awarded their own iconography and colors.

Finally, judging by their white dwarf articles, it could also be that Necron commanders will at times take the colors of their allies when commanding their troops.

In the real world, before the advent of radio, color and uniform acted as a kind of real world mini-map. That is why bright colors and flamboyant hats were so common. A commander could look at the battlefield and know who was where by hat shape and uniform color.

The Necrons honor these ancient methods of warfare. Playing a vassal army you should feel justified in using either your leiges colors, the vassals, or a unique color scheme.
