So my room mate is going to japan to study for a year and he is clearing out his house. He knew i was getting into 40k so he asked if i wanted his brothers old SM stuff. So I said sure, he told me he had like a dreadnought a term squad, so i said sure, he told me he put them in my room, so I come home to find this

its really make shift so, out of the usable units, (By that i mean the ones i can clean up and repaint) maybe 5-600 points of SM, like 3 tac suads, a term squad, and a dreadnought

It's so sad when your friends leave the hobby, but when you get piles and piles of awesome stuff I gotta say it dulls the pain a bit! Congrats on the big haul. The 4th ed rulebook has cool rules for Killteam games in the back, so even that's good to have on hand.

Yah thankfully he is not quieting, he still has his IG army on display at his house, he just gave me his brothers old SM and his old BA army, but yah was a good haul, most are soaking in some ajax right now to strip the pain lol

I'd actually feel guilty being given all this... They could have made a fair bit of money from it, right?
