Gonna try filling out a new list that doesn't run terminators, lets see what ya'll think about this one
HQ:
Chapter Master Pedro Cantor
Troops:
scout squad: 5x sniper w/ cammo cloaks
tac squad: 10x with flamer, missile launcher, and rhino
Elites:
Sternguard veterans: 10x with storm bolters mounted in a drop pod
sternguard veterans: 9x normal bolters, 1x combimelta
techmarine: full servo harness
Fast attack:
attack bike squad: 3x attack bikes with heavy bolters
SM bike squad: 1x sergeant w/ multabombs, 2x melta guns, 1x attack bike with multimelta
Heavy support:
Land raider redeemer: extra armor, multimelta & storm bolter
thunderfire cannon
vindicator: siege shield & brother sergeant chronus
Pedro makes my sternguard vets scoring, allowing me to stack them instead of tactical marines
Storm bolter vets are used to continually move and shoot at range, with pedro attached to them in the drop pod, there is no need for heavy weapons and they are capable of continuously laying down fire at range while moving, they can also be used to screen my tanks at range and close up so long as pedro is alive with 3 base attacks per vet should anything get too close
Bolter vets will be with the techmarine inside of the redeemer, from there the techmarine can repair the raider while the vets lay down covering fire, or everything can hop out and rapid fire beside the redeemer while it burns everything
I feel like the rest of the list is pretty self explanatory, and the best part is that its not too hard to drop the list down to 1850 or 1500 with the removal of just a few models per step.
So, what do ya'll think?

Stormbolters don't get the benefit of specialist ammunition. You can move and fire bolters, too.
Chronus isn't worth it's points on a Vindicator.
Attack Bikes should always have Multi Meltas.

This.
Especially the first one.
You WANT that specialist ammo. Being able to shoot 30" or pen marine armour...that's why you take sternguard. Their not being able to put a dent in anything AV11+ is also an issue,

Or being able to hit on 3s and wound on 2s with bolters, against anything.
Bringing down any Monstrous Creature ever with guys armed with Boltguns is classic. Wiping out half an Ork Mob, classic.

Knew about the storm bolters and lack of special ammo, was thinking of using them because of the 24 inch assault 2, lets them shoot at full range while on the move well outside of assault range
was going to use the attack bikes as a cheap alternative to heavy bolter land speeders, not a whole lot cheaper, and admittedly can easily get locked into close combat, but that saves points elsewhere
was not sure about Chronus, the most common scatter roll is statistically 7, i figured that the extra inch reduction to 2 in scatter could mean the difference between a solid hit and a half strength hit on a tank, though vindicators are already such high priority targets it may make things a bit more difficult...
maybe if I drop chronus and the attack bikes I can put in a land speeder squad?

Boosting Space Marine Biker

I think you lack long range firepower. You could try to counter that by getting a standard raider. Give 2 heavy flamers to your Sternguards for infantry cleaning - along with the 8 other bolters, this should put a serious dent into any infantry squad.
The attack bike squad should get MM instead of HB. Your anti-tank is a bit lacking as it is. If you can, ditch the thunderfire and Chronus and get a squad of 2 Typhoon - again adding some long range anti-tank (well AV 12 and under).
My 2 cents!

OK, so I took out the thunderfire cannon and brochro and put in a fully loaded lascannon predator and tossed extra armor on top of the vindicator. I had to drop my attack bike from my normal bike squad, but added MM to the attack bike squad itself. Maybe that will bump my antitank up a good bit. I figure I can get more points by taking out the storm bolters from that vet squad, but not sure I want to do that yet since they are basically doing the same shooting as terms would be, just not as good of a save...
thoughts on that change?
