Just thought I'd see what dakka thinks of the list I penned in a hurry for a game the other day.

HQ:

Shas'el w/ PR, MP, TA, HWMT-97

Elite:

2x XV8 w/ MP+PR+MT-124
2x XV8 w/ BC+MP+MT-100

Troops:

6x FW w/ devilfish w/ DP-145
11x Kroot-77

Heavy Support:

2x Broadsides with TA, Team leader, 2x Shield Drones-195

Total: 738

I was facing foot guard (lost, but I was winning, and he cheated, soooo...)

Its not a bad short list but you are handicapping yourself with a few choices.

Split that team of Fireknife suits into two solo choices.

The 11 kroot seem an odd size given that you are 12 points short of 750. I would suggest getting the 12th body into the unit at the least.

We do killpoints on a 4+ at my store, so fewer units has always been a priority.

I forgot to put it up, I was going to add two kroot hounds because with a squad of 13 I need 4 to die to shooting before taking a panic check.

I might just go with twelve for them? Or bring it down to ten and use the points to give my commander a drone?

Good quick list, however with guard you want max shots. Throw in a couple burst cannons instead of those PR's. You would save a few points and get more shots. Also maybe leave the DF and throw more FW's out there or xv8's. As it stands right now you giving up 7 KP which to me seems a little high for 750pt. game.
