Anyone know how to convert rhino's to razorbacks? I'm going to do it for my wolves but cant get the turret right. Any ideas?

Buy a turret and just chuck it on top?

It is the Predator that has a turret.

The Razorback has a gun mount on top but no turret.

The easiest thing is to buy one of those weapon mounts from that Polish outfit. I can't remember the name at the moment. Hopefully someone else will notice the thread and remember it.

The Predator turret?

They BOTH have a turret.

The predator has a MANNED turret, the razorback has a REMOTE turret/weapons mount.

Land Raiders (all marine players should have one of these - at least one) little forward heavy bolter or assault cannon turrets fit into the turret ring mount.

ALL rhino kits come with that turret ring top plate.
Razorback kits are a COMPLETE rhino kit and an extra turret sprue (with bits for either a lascannon OR heavy bolter turret).

The "Terminus ultra" conversion pack from GW also includes the razorback turret weapon sprue (as well as a predator's side sponson weapons and mounts).

So that we can return to the topic...

The plate to mount a turret weapon onto a rhino chassis is the other panel on the rhino sprue, the one with a big hole in it. Now if the double doors have been installed, you'll have to knock them out and replace it with that baseplate. After that, you just need to acquire the proper turret weapons.

And for any future vehicles, always buy either Razorbacks or Predators. They both come with a complete Rhino kit (side doors and top hatch) plus the top plate with the hole (place the hole one ay and the Razorback turret fits, flip it upside down and the Predator turret fits that side).
Magnets can be used to hold side doors or Pred Sponsons in place depending on vehicle/weapon loadout.
BTW, the same top piece is what the Whirlwind missile launcher also uses.
Even the Vindicator is built on the Rhino model, with an extra sprue for all the Vindi parts. Difference being the Vindicator parts pretty well enclose the entire rhino, so those are best built as that specific model.
(EDIT) Assuming you have glued the Rhino hatch to the vehicle, you could either try to knock/pry/tear the hatch off and buy the top plate bit
OR
cut a round hole in the top of the Rhino plate the same size as the bottom ring (the lowest ring...NOT the base itself). Then the Razorback turret can be mounted to that hole. If you do it right you may be able to glue a new "coverplate type hatch" to a 25mm base and use that to re-cover the hole when you want to make it a Rhino again.

I concur. The outfit is Bitspudlo, their site is here, and you should know their product is good but they are really slow shipping to the US.

Alternately you can buy the Razorback sprue here, and alternately... alternately, you can get a Forge World conversion kit for around $20 here.

For me, the additional sprues and kits seem too expensive. You can look for turret bits from the Landraider kit, or glue/magnetize the turret kit from the sSormraven for a little different look. I used molds to duplicate some bits I already had to build swappable laz-plaz conversions on my rhinos and they turned out pretty cool. I just found it ridiculous to pay $20 for one sprue to upgrade a $25 model. If I need more of either tank, I will probably take the advice offered here and just buy razors so I have the option.
