Right, newbie on eldar here. I just got hooked on eldar but I want to start low 500 points?
Now there wasnt much to fit-in the list as it is composed of extremely fragile guys/girls hehe. I would also like you guys to suggest other 500 point lists as I am still working on my CF and Tau so Eldar on a sideline to keep me busy.

Elites - 6 banshees w/ exarch and mirror swords

Troops - (2) x10 guardians + warlocks with conceal to make them at least survivable to grab an obj.

Some might suggest getting a transport instead of the banshees but I just love these ladies hehe.

You cant take a single warlock as a seer council, you need at least three. Your single warlock w/destructor is illegal. Seer councils are huge point blobs, and are ineffective as small squads, so just drop him.

Also, drop guide or doom. At 500 points, a farseer needs to be cheap.

Banshees without a transport are going to get shot to ribbons ASAP. No opponent in their right mind will let them get near. They could really use a transport. A banshee charge+doom should deal with most threats you see at 500 points, but I would take an executioner for the extra S, as you might have to go after T5 or T6 targets.

Either way, eldar elites are very expensive and quite fragile, not the best at lower point levels.

What weapons are on your guardians? I assume scatter lasers?

2X 10 man guardian squad w/ scatter laser, one squad has a warlock w/conceal

Wraithlord w/EML.

Sometimes I run cheap on troops and run two wraithlords.

I have two incredibly tough MC's, and 20 fearless bodies with 3' guns, as well as a melta, missile, and 2 flame templates.

I do Mechdar at 500, it's pretty fun

120 Falcon Pulse Laser, x1 Shurken Cannon

76 3 Guardian Jetbikes x1 Shuriken Cannon
76 3 Guardian Jetbikes x1 Shuriken Cannon

Could easily swap guide and the spear for Doom, whichever you prefer, he runs in the Falcon.

For the Footdar 500, I would agree with Dr. Serling, something like this to cram lots of good choices.

66 - 3 Jetbikes
180 - 3 Scatterlaser Warwalkers
115 - Wraithlord w/Missile Launcher

Something like this has a decent Firebase with a small Avenger Squad to escort the Farseer. Shoot up your opponent with lots of Strength 6? One might prefer to have more resilient Troops, though. I like bringing as many guns to the fight as possible
