Right, so I recentley bought an xbox and have it hooked up to my tv with the A/V leads. Only problem is that the picture quality isn't fantastic (words are blurry and some of the graphics are grainy). Now my TV is HD ready but only has a DVI port, so I ordered a hdmi to dvi cable and am planning to plug this in, in addition to my A/V cables so that the image is improved whilst the sound is retained.
I just wanted to make sure that doing this wouldn't affect my xbox 360 badly and that it would work, so I was wondering if I could get some advice on this?

It should be fine.
I connected my xbox using the HDMI cable and it's still shiny...
Admittedly it's my second xbox (R.I.P Firebox)
