I'm looking to pick up a G44 and I'm looking to do so cheaply. Problem is, I'm coming across multiple listings at widely different prices, all apparently for the same product, all apparently new. It lists for $59.95 on the TCP Global site, as well as their external seller listing on Amazon. Amazon also has a listing with TCP Global as an Amazon seller, which is only $40.96. If that weren't enough, searching for the G44 also brought up this listing, which appears to be the same brush (still TCP Global as an Amazon seller) for a mere $27.61, but isn't explicitly labeled as a G44.

Have any G44 owners bought through Amazon? Any clues as to the reasons for the price discrepancy or, more to the point, whether the cheaper listings will get me what I'm after?

From the looks of it, the cheaper one will have a bigger needle (its not listed as the .2mm model) and digging around I found a set with the same brush with 3 different needles (.2, .3, .5)

Thats the only difference that I can see.

The $27 is in fact a G44 and it does come with a .2 mm needle. It is a fabulous brush and I thing I might get another one and buy a large needle for my heavy lifting.

While I can't possibly fathom why a seller would offer the same product at such widely varying prices (without it being advertised as a refurbished piece, or something - not that I would care), I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. If it's truly a G44, and at that price, I've found my brush and I may just go ahead and grab myself a .05 needle, while I'm at it.
