Hi,
I would like to know if anyone has the teutonic knights box set , if so would you be able to post a picture of them alongside GW bretonnian knights for a size comparison please.
thank you.

I haven't built them yet, but the helm matches Karl Franz pretty nicely:

Overall, the figures look like they'll match with anything GW.

The Teutonic Knights are really awesome. I'd strongly recommend them.

I had this vague idea of using fireforge knights to build a Brettonian army. I'm sure I'm not the only one to think that, but after seeing that picture, I'm pulling the plug on that project.

While I prefer the GW model in that comparison pic, the Fireforge one looks pretty good.

Size wise they are much smaller as is anything that is true Historical 28 mm versus the Fantasy GW 28 mm on steroids. They are however beautiful miniatures, rivaling most anything GW has produced in the Empire and Bret ranges. They do not have all of the clunkiness that goes along with the Brets, the barding is better and so are the helms in my opinion. I love them, and plan on using them in a WAB army in the future. They will also be releasing infantry probably by the end of the year. And the price is good on the box set. Just my thoughts.

Honestly if you dont mix the two I think they'll be fine

Not to mention the money you can save

As long as you don't mix them they can totally work. There probably isn't much reason to use non-historicals for most of a Brettonian army anyway.

Don't forget to check out Front Rank and Artizan for metal historicals to supplement the plastic.

Well, Artizan is actually better for Empire:

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.
