Can anyone give me where the reference material is on this ork vehicle please? I just realized that the person who brought it, has hand typed rules that say stuff like, it can fire all weapons while going 36 inches flat out, and I want to see if this is a legal 40k vehicle Even if its forgeworld 40k

As an Ork player, I'm fairly certain you're being swindled.

Also, where I play, if you don't have the rulebook for it, you can't use it.

The only Ork dropship I know is the Ork Landa. Its only available, rules and model wise, in Epic though:

Yeah...i let it go through 3 games before i actually took a look at the rules.
I would post its rules (even though its apparently fictional creation) but i dont want to get Dakka in trouble.

It has the same rules for destruction as a trukk (kareen etc)
36 inch flat out fires all its weapons flat out
5+ invuln
and a move similar to necrons sweep attack ccb

Now that i type it out (with its vendetta type armor values) im like, wtf?
Oh, and its a transport.

I am not aware of such a unit, which means it either doesn't exist or the rules are really old.

The only thing able to go 36" flat out at all would be the bomma or the fighta-bomma.

It's not something printed in the current Ork Codex, any of the Apocalypse books nor in any book published by FW.

My guess is that he swindled you

not sure of the unit, but yea sounds liek mad eup rules if it looked like a legit model do you have a pic of it? that'd better help identify it

The warkopta is just a fast skimmer, it can't go 36" at all.

He just used like a thunderhawk with an ork skull on it So no picture.

souns like he made his own stormraven added some improvments and orky sounding thngs and called it a day...

Yeah I was convinced that it was legit until i google searched it right before i posted the question
And ive been playing with night scythes and doom scythes and seeing how awesome their aerial attack or whatever it is that allows them to move 12 and fire all weapons...So...being able to move 36, and fire all weapons (whats that, 6 or so weapons he has listed) and get a 4+ cover, not to mention even if it sat still itd still get a 5+ invuln...HMMMM, not to mention the catacomb command barge sweep like action.

lol! You know that white scar vs tau thing where the kroot infiltrated in a konga line and the white scars couldnt get in? Thought of the next "ork" invented model/powers and what would happen.

He'll need to show you the book it's from and the rules.

No such vehicle exists for the Orks.

He's lying and cheating. Your best bet now is to tell him he is a liar and a cheater, and never play him again.

Introduce him to it, with some force.

Maybe he'll absorb something by osmosis.

The kan-flail still works though. I have impaled myself multiple times on spiky bits when moving my plastic kanz, hitting someone with them would leave nasty scars.
