I've been working on getting my Dark Eldar painted in time for a tournament in June. After a loooong time of procrastinating, terrified they'd turn out crappy (I had only painted chaos marines before and started on the hobby a bit over a year ago), I finally decided to man up, came with a color scheme, liked it and started working.

These are nearly finished, needing only a bit of washing and details on the weapons and eyes. The others are almost that far along the way and I'll be posting more pics soon.

A basic warrior. I plan to use Duke Sliscous the Serpent as an HQ, so it makes sense to use a reptilian-style visual, I figured.

A basic Kabalite Sybarite.

A less basic Sybarite with agonizer and blast pistol, though I just might convert him a bit into an Archon. This is my favorite so far. The back banner is still black because a friend of mine (outside the hobby) all but begged me to let him do a freehand design on it.

And as a freebie, here's my little conversion of a Baron Sathonyx:

I pimped his skyboard with the trophy racks from the Venom kit, and added a skull in a "Poor Eldar Farseer, I knew him well" pose to represent his little trinket and special rule. Could use a better head, though.

In Boxing matches, you actually get paid to take a dive and make the other guy look good.

In Warhammer 40K, you're expected to pay cash out of your pocket for the privilege of having Marines and IG trample all over your Xenos/Chaos.

nice highlighting there mate, in overall a very well done job, the color scheme might be a little too monocromatic for my tast but it looks good on DA.
that orange sword would look better if you make it go from black to bright orange, if you get me, check out my castellan crowe it might give you an idea, and comment.
