Can a battlewagon ram into a building and get a deff roller hit? Also when assaulting a building do you do anything different for damage charts? because what would weapon destroyed and immobilization mean? Thanks.

I always press dat, if you know what I mean.

1) if the victim unit was on the 2nd floor, they wold not be hit.
2) have to make the dangerous terrain test for entering the terrain
3) if it is going through a wall............., i don`t believe it will be allowed to. If it can bust through walls then i have been using the rolla wrong!

Can a battlewagon ram into a building and get a deff roller hit?

Only if that terrain is truly classified as a "building" and not a ruin... AND, said building must be occupied. If both are true, you could ram the building (treat it as an immobile vehicle).

Also when assaulting a building do you do anything different for damage charts?

If you want to wreck said building, it should be same as vehicle dmg chart... can't find my BRB at the moment to confirm (anyone else care to jump in?).

because what would weapon destroyed and immobilization mean?

I think those would wreck the build in a same way it would on a currently immoblized vehicle with no weapons... but, I'm not 100% for sure.

If I'm playing with real non-ruined building... I just think of them as immobilized vehicles (with agreed AV for said buildings).

Thanks.

Hope it helps...

See page 79:
...treat stunned, immobilized and weapon destroyed as shaken results instead.

When you ram the (enemy occupied) building it counts as a transport vehicle. So you get the ram hit and the deff roller hits against it.
Like whembly said, you treat stunned, weapon destroyed, and immobilized count as shaken... unless the building actually has fixed guns. Wrecked and explodes are as normal.
Also, note that the building counts as open topped if there are models on the roof.

Christ, where do you buy your turnips?

Where does it say this in the rulebook?

in MY rulebook, the BRB, buildings count as vehicles with a transport capacity. So I get d6 S10 hits against it. Please prove otherwise

Rulebook FAQ, page 7:
Q: Can you ram a building? (p79)
A: No. The vehicle will simply stop if it contacts a building.

No ram -> No Tank Shock -> No deff rolla hits.

From what I have gathered from the responses you can only ram a building that is occupied. Does an exploded or wrecked building cause any wounds or anything? also is the group inside left standing in difficult/dangerous terrain?

Bam! Problem solved!
On the one hand, I can totally see orkses ramming their deffrolla into say a hut or basic house, simple structure like that. So I thought "maybe RAI..."
But then I thought of a battlewagon deff rolling a bastion down and something...didn't quite seem right

Uh... is that an old FAQ?

The only limitation from memory was that you could NOT ram an unoccupied building.

Luide is correct. That is from the most recent FAQ. So no ramming buildings.
