Hey guys, i heard WoC were getting new rules and such on a miniature forum i go tom, so is that true?
And if it is, does anyone know if marauders will be redone shortly after?

The rumors seem to confirm that WoC are next but i haven't seen anything exact.
I suggest checking the news section.

Imo Daemons should get a new book before WoC. But I love the WoC model line, so I'm looking forward to seeing that.

Marauder kit has been around forages but it is still a goodie. and cheap for the number of naked loonies you get

WoC are next in line for fantasy, but due to upcoming 40k releases and 6th ed, its gonna be a while (nov/dec) til WoC get their new book. Marauders are not mentioned in rumors for a new kit, only:

-plastic forsaken
-warshrine
-chariot (possible warshrine dual kit)
-Dragon ogres
-Large kit (I am guessing chaos dragon)

One thing I do know (especially after what they did to empire state troops) is that Marauders have a sizable nerf coming their way. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 2-4 increase in points for GW marauders. If you hate the current models (like me), there are alternatives like Bestigors.

These are some good and reasonable guesses given the patterns of most recent releases for other armies. You can expect a new character probably, a big centerpiece kit (probably the chaos dragon) and then one or two medium sized kits. The War Shrine / Chariot kit makes a lot of sense, and Forsaken currently have no model support so they're an easy guess too.

I think they are getting the easy ones out of the way first. Empire needed tweaking. They didn't change much. VC was kind of the same. WoC has a lot of good models already and is competitive. They can fix it pretty fast I'd think.

Stuff like WE you think they'd have to redo quite a bit.

But I'd love to see DoC reworked.

The releases look cool =D

I hope they do get plastic chosen models just for the mod changes you can do to plastic over the metal models. As for the marauders they don't really need any changes(I don't use them all that much) and as for the game play they are extremely competitive.

Ive made my chosen from the warrior kit and gave them a combi of 2 hand weapons and shields.
Those with 2 hand weps got knight shields on their back.
