Well, a little while ago, I got to paint some Beasts for the Dark Eldar, and I thought I would share them here with you all:

I really like the shading on the blue one's muscles, how it's built up to a grey - it works really well.

Wow! really like those colors you went with. The bottom pic reminds me of the dogs from Resident Evil. Very Awesome.

A while ago, I started using Bone colors to highlight most other colors, and I really like the results. It neutrals out the colors a little as you highlight up, which really adds some character to both brighter and more neutral tones.

Lovely work, as other have said.

Personally, I don't like the tail on the clawed fiend - seems too ratlike in texture for such a brick outhouse of a mini. I left it off and GS'd the hole on mine.

Not a criticism of your paint job (which is a amazing) - just the model.

My client decided to add something to this unit, so here is another beast. The green is by request (it is easier to tell the different clawed fiends from one another).

That's a good idea, I'll have to try that if I have a unit that I can do that with.

The green is still my favorite of the two.

Did you ever get pictures of either Razorwing flock? Those turned out great and they aren't really a figure type that gets posted on the forums very often.

I looked through my gallery, and I don't think I got a photo of the Razorwings. Drat.

I painted the main color on them using a variation of my worn leather recipe- it worked rather well for them.
