Hi all. I am planning on expanding my Dark Eldar list up to 1500. I don't want to do a cheesy "Venom Spam List" as I play more casual games.

HQ:

Haemonculus (1): 65 points [to go in Raider with Wyches]
-Liquifier Gun, Venom Blade

Elites:

Incubi (5): 175 points
-Venom with extra Splinter Cannon

Kabalite Trueborn (5): 185 points
-4 Blasters
-Venom with extra Splinter Cannon

Troops:

Kabalite Warriors (10): 185 points
-Sybarite with Venom Blade, Splinter Cannon
-Raider with Flickerfield

Kabalite Warriors (10): 185 points
-Sybarite with Venom Blade, Splinter Cannon
-Raider with Flickerfield

Wyches (9): 185 points
-Hekatrix with Venom Blade, Shardnet and Impaler
-Raider with Flickerfield

Kabalite Warriors (5): 125 points
-Blaster
-Venom with extra Splinter Cannon

Heavy Support:

Ravager: 115 points
-Flickerfield

Ravager: 115 points
-Flickerfield

Razorwing: 165 points
-Nightshields, Flickerfield

Total: 1500 points

I usually hold the entire army in reserve to ensure that nothing gets shot at until it has a chance to shoot at least once. I have been quite lucky with my reserve rolls, usually have everything on the board by turn 3.

I know that the Incubi aren't necessarily the best use of points, but I love the models and find them to be a decent support unit for the Wyches, giving them that extra bit of punch in combat.

What do you think? Decent 1500 point list?

Looks pretty solid, my only critique would be that a Flickerfield would serve you far better on the Razorwing than Nightshields. Almost anything the enemy has that can pop it will usually laugh off the 6" range reduction and I get much more mileage out of the Flickerfield.

Also the Venom Blades, whilst it's nice to wound on a 2+, any MEQ or respectable armour save opponents will shrug off the hits. I think the Agoniser is an excellent weapon and as always wounds on 4+ even Wraithlords and the like can be brought down. Maybe drop the Sybarites to find the points for an Agoniser on the Hekatrix. Just be wary of getting your Wyches entangled with any form of regular dread though as without Haywire Grenades they will slowly crumble without any chance of hurt.

Your list carries a good mix of firepower and CC threat with the Incubi in there, I'm a big fan of incubi, some people aren't but hey ho. I think they're great and as you rightly say they are gorgeous models.

Good luck with your list, I think you'll do fine.
