Hey guys so i ran out of ICEBLUE citadel paint today and noticed they don sell it any longer. I heard about their new paint but i didnt think they did away with old colors! Anyway i have a few older colors i use frequently and was wondering if anyone knew of a convertion chart that shows which older paint matchs the newer line. Thanks

GW has one but from what I've heard it is not very accurate.

This is what I use. Not sure how accurate it is though.

+1

I've looked at some of the paints, and it's definitely different. Since they changed companies that manufacture it I'd imagine why. Example: Bleach Bone (or whatever the new fangled name is now) is now more greenish bone. It's got a nice good green, almost fungi look to it imo.

I've noticed on some of the reds and blues that the shade is either a bit lighter, or a bit darker. Never the same ;/.

I usually use Vallejo, but for the few pots I've used of GW (stopped mid 90's with their pots), I'll sadly have to change it up to Reaper I think ;(.

I try to, but for things like "ard coat, and the 1 or 2 few select colours, I always used the GW ones. Old habits die hard lol.

Wait, you're asking about ICEBLUE paint... and your user name is... IceBlue!

Anyway, lol, try this one, from what I hear it's much better than GW's chart;

Homebrew Imperial Guard: 1222nd Etrurian Lancers (Winged); Special Air-Assault Brigade (SAAB)
Homebrew Chaos: The Black Suns; A Medrengard Militia (think Iron Warriors-centric Blood Pact/Sons of Sek)

I agree with you, but GW did not make it easy for you if you are trying to find a close color match to the old system.

Just note that conversion charts show you close equivalencies. Some colors are better matches than others but you can't tell how close of a match it is by the chart itself.
