Hey guys! Now that you showed me some great paint compatibility charts where can I find a good place to get paint cheap!
I've been looking around ebay but with shipping the prices seem to be slightly more expensive. Unless I buy used bottles of paint, but that just seems like a waste. I'm leaning more towards Vallejo Game Color / Model color, because their paints come in bottles rather than pots. Thanks

the army painter is good value.
they have dropperbottles and great sprayprimers and spraypaints.

dropperbottles are same size and price as vallejo as far as i know.
the colored primersprays make the difference though

From what I heard, GW paints are worth the price for their "pigments" or something, they do amazing things about them

yes, huge selection of pretty much all the paints on the market from Vallejo/p3/reaper/Army Painter and even gw ( you just need to order it differently) usually is at a discount. I like to get there empty dropper bottles too for custom blends. They just got the army painter set and i know they have the entire P3 set on sale.

Wow, just checked out that Miniature Market. great site and great prices as well... nice find..

Concerning The WarStore, I absolutely love how they do their packaging. Some of the best shipments I've received, not just hobby supply shops.

Just use a variety of them.

I use Vallejo because I like them best. Best price, best flow, best opacity.

I use Reaper when I want certain color trinities. Best variety for me.

I use GW Washes and sometimes Army Painter washes. Both work similarly.

I use Tamiya weathing powders for weathering effects.

I use Testor's Dullcote and Glosscoat for the finish. I prefer the stuff from the bottle where you brush it on/.

Finally, I use Reaper Drying Retardant, Reaper Flow-Aid, Vallejo Glaze Medium, and local supermarket Distilled Water for mixes.

---

Best thing is, WarStore has all this stuff for cheaper than anywhere else. Buy a bulk of what seems interesting and you're all good.
Some FLGSs also sell cheap paint depending on their policies. Check with them on their special-order policies and if they can get stuff from their distributors to you.

Warstore +10!!!

Also, don't rule out cheaper acrylics (thinking michaels, ac Moore, etc.)
When thinned and such, can work just as well, at least in a pinch. pigment level is a tad low on some colors, but that's why we do multiple payers anyway.

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?
