So I thought of the list as a way to do heavy armor company. The list provided is 2,000 points. I wanted to ask if list can work and ideas to make it more effective.

yay you fixed it so it makes scence thats alot of vehicals and it should be able to rip them a new one

The 3 land raider is to intimidate people on top of having 3 Vindicators going 12 inches to blast something. Plus I wanted more lascannon shots.

On page 89 of the Blood Angels codex, it says you can have replace a bolt pistol with something else for every 5 members in the squad.

That and BAs land raider are dedicated transport, which the wrong book would tell you it's heavy support.

i know its a dedicated transport i thought that you needed 10 man in order to upgrade the pistols to melta and other things

Just one gun per 5-man. Though I wonder if I should go for Redeemers for more points on upgrades?

Just cut out the extra librarian and beef up the troop squads slightly

This list is awesome btw- a lot of armies have no way of dealing with this much AV13/14

I prefer to keep a 2nd librarian in, as I want to keep the focus of an armoured battlegroup and thus using the actual troops as more of an upgrade for a land raider to score. Corrections have made.

This list does also make playable for the spearhead expansion.

Well its :dirty, tough, and utterly nasty. Looks like a good list. Run with it.

I think I can give every baal predator heavy bolter sponsons if I switch the land raiders into redeemers. Would it be worth it to do the switch, or stick with the regular land raiders?

That makes my Tyrant cry. The only upside for nids is the armor is fast so it gets to me sooner. Gads that is nasty.

would love to see it go up against Chimera Vets and Leman russ's/ Armored vs Armored

HB sponsons on the Baals is pretty handy IMO- especially with such a low model count. They are expensive, however. I've never really liked land raider redeemers... They fall short often IMO.

Well, the trade off is either having 3 baals with HB sponsons at the cost of Redeemers, or having only 2 baals with HB sponsons but be able to either use the Crusader or the Godhammer.

My question is, is it worth using Redeemers for all 3 baals to have HB sponsons, or will the Godhammer's twin-linked lascannon sponsons be more useful? There's also the Crusader as an alternative to the Godhammer as an idea.
