What: Warhammer 40,000 Team Tournament
When: Saturday May 19th ; sign up at 10:30am, tournament starts at 11am
Where: The End Game Center 722 West Rio Road, Ste. 8, Charlottesville, VA
Cost: $10 registration
Prize: 1st place=50%, 2nd place=30%, 3rd place=20%, all prizes handed out as store credit

I will probably go to this, just need a partner. Also, 1 FoC or 2? do rules benefit eachother? requirements like 1 hq 2 troop?

For unique characters. Yes each player can play any special character they wish from their codex. This means that you can be faced with 2 Mephistons.

Now as far as sharing special abilities, they can be shared only as listed here;

If an unique character has a rule that says " if an army contains", then those abilities apply only to the 1250 point list he is part of not the combined force.

If the character has a rule that says " affects all friendly units", then it can cross the entire force as listed here.

First, it will only apply to forces that are of the same faction, and from the same codex. It will not cross from one codex to another, ie, blood angles cannot cross special rules benefits to any other space marines forces, but can effect other blood angels forces.

EXAMPLE: Sanguinary Priest ( feel no pain) would apply to any other blood angels unit within the rules for his ability (units within 6").

This rule cannot cross to any other of space marine force execpt for blood angels.

EXEAMPLE: An ork player cannot effect a non ork unit withe the waaagh!, but two orks players could call two waaagh! but will still be limited to the rules that apply to it.

EXAMPLE: A guard player can issue orders to his teammate's guard unit, but cannot violate the rules for issuing orders, ie, if one order to a unit fails, he cannot the try to order the same unit again from another command unit (senior or junior).

EXAMPLE: A independant character cannot join a non-army specfic unit and affect it with his special rules, but could otherwise join any unit that is on his team, whether out of desperation or expedience.

Lastly, would fateweavers ability to allow all friendly units within 6 inches allow his partners army( non daemon army, like CSM, dark eldar, tyranids) to reroll their armor, invuln and cover saves?
