I had two questions. Firstly when you charge a unit you must do so in a way that means the maximum number of models fight on both sides. Unit blocks will therefore have to charge dead centre obviously. But with something like chariots can you choose to charge near the edge of a unit as long as you have the max number of models in base contact? I ask because it may be useful to keep my chariots within inspiring presence of they can be a couple of inches to the right or left of the centre of a unit.

Second question is if you have multiple casters (say 3 level 2s) do you swap for sig spells after all the wizards have been rolled for (thus increasing your chance of getting to choose from a double) or do you have to swap for sig spells when each wizard is rolled individually (decreasing your chance of getting to choose as you could roll the number you swapped out with the next wizard)?

Thanks wise men

1) yes this is legal. Just make sure to have the maximum models in contact.

2) It never really says which way is correct and I have seen it played both ways. You may want to discuss this with your opponent.

2) It definitely says in the main book, page 490.

You pick one of your wizards and roll their spells. Once you have resolved any doubles, you may now swap one of that wizard's spells for the signature spell.

You next pick another wizard, and roll up their spells. Any duplicates rolled allow you to choose another numbered spell. If, for some reason, you can't choose a spell not already taken (their all taken by other wizards in your army) for instance, then any extra spells are lost. THEN you can choose to swap for the signature spell.
