Hi guys,

I'm contemplating getting a land raider but not sure which would suit my needs best So, I plan to magnetise the weapons and try out the main three variants. My question is, does the crusader/redeemer kit come with the HB & LC's for a vanilla land raider?

And what size of magnets would be ideal for the purpose as I've so far never used them, 3mm?

I'm pretty sure it has the heavy bolter but not the lascannons but I may be wrong on that.

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

Thanks for that Mywik.

Looking at the above sprue, would i be correct in thinking that this sprue would be the vanilla land raider parts?

Yes Kronkus, that is the basic land raider sprue. I found this at miniwargaming.com, should help you with your magnet question.

Magnets are good for the enter changeability. I had to do some work on my LRC and ended up just putting on both the flame storm cannons and the hb. It looks pretty cool.

Actually, those are the predator and Razorback weapon sprues.

The heavy bolter on the right sprue is suitable for the land raider though.

To be able to make both variants of the land raider you will need a land raider box and the crusader weapons sprue.

That's not exactly the right one, it's the razor back sprue used incombination with a LR to make a LR terminus Ultra ( a apoc LR varient ) This thing
