Ok, I've started painting up Kobolds from my Super Dungeon set. Here are the first three of them to be finished.

One note here- I'm intentionally painting all of the kobolds differently for a couple reasons. First, my wife wants to paint a bunch as well, and we don't want to worry about them matching. Also, both of us were feeling a little sick of painting units, so painting them each as individuals should help them look terrific. We're going to try and make them match in style, but no two kobolds are going to be colored the same:

Oh Kobolds how I hate thee... Like always your painting is really smooth and I love the different colors you used.

I like your paintjob. I'm not too wild about the sculpts, but that's hardly your fault. I think that the individualized paint scheme will work great with making the army fit the conventional sort of 'rag-tag' image people have of kobolds. Your client should be very pleased! And I'm glad your wife is interested in your hobby a well, it's always good to share an activity in a marriage.

They all look good to me. I would also want to try out these super deformed anime style minis at some point.

I'd really like a tutorial on how you paint so smoothly!

I guarantee you that I'm not really as smart as the test says:

Thanks. I taught her to paint and play Warmachine when we started dating... of course, we met at a weekly D&D game, so it wasn't exactly her first contact with gaming and geekdom.

Just to be clear, these ones aren't for a client, unlike most of the things that I post. This one is for my own Super Dungeon set.
