I didn't have any issues with the two I built less than an hour ago.

i just got it. the right arm holding the gun needs to be in the perfect spot. if the hand is rotated either towards or away from the body slightly things get wonky in a hurry.

I see what you mean by cross-body pieces now. Yes, I feel your pain, and likewise hate them. Anytime I have to glue three pieces in place simultaneously (or in the case of my metal multimeltas, four pieces) I get a little aggravated. I prefer to avoid doing cross-body pieces whenever possible.

I consider myself a decent modeller, and even I had troubles with this one. In the end, I had to attach everything with greenstuff, get it to the right pose, and then glue everything down (and wait for the GS to cure, of course).

I'm sure once you've done them a bunch, you just know what the angle of the arms should be and so you can just glue them down and they'll basically be in the right position. Until you've done it enough, yeah, it's a pain.

All of my PAGK special weapons figures are metals.

No assembly (apart from base and pack) required. They cost me $20 for 5 in a bits sale.

The rest of my plastic GK were sourced pre-assembled by someone who had grown disillusioned with the army.

MY SM heavy weapons guys all have pinned weapons. That goes for the metal/plastic hybrid kits (which have all metal bodies as well now) and the all-plastic ones. It was the only way to get them to fit together.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

I had a touch of difficulty, but only in figuring out where the left hand went. Once I figured that out, it went together easily enough. But I've only had the plastic ones that came in the power armored GK box. Those probably go together a feth of a lot more easily than the metal ones.

there is only one spot that "works" so basically the arms arnt posable. i would rather they release "two handed grip" weapons in a single horseshoe shaped piece (all one cast). it would save alot of time. also annoying that all but one guy is "two handed grip".

i too consider myself a good modeler, i'm mid 20s. i have no idea how a younger gamer would deal with this, i assume that most would end up ruining their models.

Erf, well, part of that is that they have to allow them to dual-wield as well.

With the swords for GKs, you could probably use a single right-handed falchion and call it a Nemesis Sword, and just use an empty hand or fist for the left hand. Just be sure your opponent knows.

Halberds though... That wouldn't work for halberds.

I do sympathize on the lack of swords being wielded in a single hand outside of the falchions.

I'm just furious everytime I have to paint a cadian guardsmen. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Is holding his gun flat to his chest. Really? REALLY?!?!??! You mean to tell me that's the only pose you could come up with? No bayonet thrust? No reload? No aiming pose? REALLY?!??!?!??!

Hence why I hate cadians with a burning fury of a thousand suns.

If I hadn't gotten them so cheap from a friend, I would've probably never bothered with them. I haven't put any together yet, but I can guarantee you I'd be modifying the heck out of them in a desperate attempt to get something besides that terrible way they hold their guns.

...is it just me who glues the left arm to the gun, then glues the right arm to the body, then the left? Should try it, it makes fitting cross body weapons so much easier.
