22 Spearmen won't do all that much. There are probably better ways to spend those points if you're not using the Sacrificial Dagger. Consider 10 RHB Corsairs, Full Command, Standard of Discipline. It will shred most magehunters on the S&S, pretty much guaranteeing they won't get to your general. Another possibility is another 10 Repeater Crossbowmen.

The Pendant of Khaeleth on the Supreme Sorceress makes her much more survivable. She'd even be able to tank most miscast results.

Repeater Crossbows on the Dark Riders gives them something to do on the turns they don't fight. They'll be firing at short range from the beginning of the game (12" Vanguard + 18" March = Behind Enemy Lines).

One Hydra will become the focus of enemy fire, because there is literally nothing else worth shooting at, especially if you Cauldron Ward the Corsairs. Use this to your advantage, keeping the hydra under cover but not impossible to shoot for as much of the enemy shooting as possible. He'll spend a lot of effort killing it, while the real killers of your list charge across the field unopposed.

Pretty funky list, looks like it'd be a blast to play.

Would slaughterise low armour/low toughness armies but against an army with better toughness and/or armour (like the old staple WoC) I could imagine it might have trouble as Mindrazor is the only thing which makes it reliably able to take those kinds of things down, so your opponent is gonna save their dispel dice or scroll for that. High Elves might also cut those small units of Witch Elves apart with their ASF, but the Shades should rip them apart from shooting first.

With this in mind I would second that the Pendant of Khaeleth is a good item for your Sorceress. Then when that block of Corsairs or one of the units of Witch Elves gets into combat with a high armour enemy throw every one of your power dice (except one to try and Power of Darkness afterwards then lower a Chaos Warriors Initiative with the Shadow sig spell so you strike first with the corsairs or lower the weapon skill so your witch Elves hit on 3s) at the Mindrazor to try and get IF or at least force your opponent to use all his dispel dice to try and dispel with IF.

With the pendant your sorceress would have a 1 in 6 chance of taking a wound from the strength hits of a miscast and you just have to hope she doesn't end up sucked into the realm of chaos or losing her wizard levels. The downside is she has no protection against attacks without a strength value, so Lore of Death can be nasty, along with some Lores from army books.

But I'm a big gambler with my Sorceresses so YMMV.

Yah I have played a few really one sided games with this list (One sided in there was not much left when my laddies got through) and I do think pendant is worth it. Also the Warriors are a bunker who just sits there to give you LD range and now get charged.

You can take metal on the level 2, can't you? Definitely what I would do, hard-counters all that armored stuff, which Empire just ensures we'll be seeing more of. Also flaming, also has hexes / augments, etc.

Riiiight flaming sword is one of the best spells in the game (particularly with your frenzy) and flame cage is one of the second best in the game. But check the comments: arguably you need (assured) help cracking armor more than you need (a chance at getting) either of those two spells. And whatever else you roll is going to be generically blasty, which is cool, buuuuuuut ...

Also, you almost never see Metal, and DE have some of the few hero casters that can take it.

Agree with the comments so far re: Magic. If you want to be all comers, you need to be prepared with an answer for the inevitable Mournfang. Lots of armor piercing shots are going to help you out, but it would be pretty nice to have the Metal signature too...
