Well we humped 11 miles to the range with all our gear and the boots i was issued tore my feet up. I have other pairs but didnt have em. Anyhow i had a corpsmen patch the gaping hole in my heel.
1. Do imperial guardsmen have corpsman (medics)? Or does the commisar just execute a guardsmen with blisters on his feet? Lol.
2. Do apothecarys act as a medic for space marines? I'm aware there suits are so advanced they probably dont get blisters. Lol but in terms of wounds.
Anyhow other than we just trained our basic tactics. Gotta love the m16. Its like carrying a musket, blah blah blah.

1. Of course they have medics, if the squad is damn lucky they got the elite Sister Hospitallier. And commissars with mental illnesses most likely is routed out at the Schola Progeniums. But I sort of would assume a commissar would keep an eye out for disease amongst the men. I mean I heard about British officers in WWI who inspected the men's feet.
2. Yes the Space Marine Apothecaries do medical duties. They are very good doctors.

The M16 and I don't get along well. I can shoot just fine with any other battle rifle, but the M16 just screams "feth you!" each time I shoot it.

little tip thomas, when you get the standard issue boots (Toe smashers we call em) jump up and down on them to soften the leather, this will help not mash your feet up in them, also go to your local store and get some blister pads to put in them, and make sure you put talcom powder in the boots the night before this will help your feet also, a sodier who cant walk is not a soldier my old C.O used to say
M16 lol, try useing the SA80A1, that things sucks more ass than a ... well something that sucks ass, one time on the fireing range i was popping away and the grip actually Tore away from the maid rifle, another time the sight cracked, those things have a radioactive isotobe inside them, i was like "screw this"
The A2 is much better but still not as good as the M4

Are you nuts? The sisters are celibate, and I sort of think that breaking that would if not ending up executed then assigned to the the Repentia or at least kicked out of the sisterhood. Then again I personally think a Sister Hospitallier assigned to a Guard regiment would almost certainly have the Cantum Advance, so she didn't just burn everyone there as a filthy heretic.
Yeah the feet-inspection thing sounds about right, as it's a joke from many a movie with armchair military like Streamers.

It could work during the reign of Blood when they were the Brides of the Emperor, and not his Daughters. Now they are too penitent, and for further information I would recommend that you read this thread http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/60/429566.page#3915253 the guys knowing about the SOB have damn good points there.
I can however see the Sororita being cordinal even friendly with other officers and such, so that is not impossible, but having sex is some poor construct of Cain's imagination (and he is smarking over sport-results, so that's bad).

First off, thanks for serving.
Second, go for it. However it comes out, I can guarantee you it'll be more realistic than the Eldar Warlock and Eversor Assassin story I'm writing up.

nah not badass special forces (not compared to marines lol) were the eyes and ears or the army, i always called it "profesional hide and seek", we used to scout out ahead with our scimitars (shopping trolley edition) and basically found stuff and went on patrols
It was always fun sitting in an OP for a week with no support in the middle of nowhere finding stuff lol

Ah love can be many things, you are right about that. She can grow to care for a guy like a sister cares for her brother and such. There I see zero problems. I was far too narrow in my definition of love.

Can't you just look up some naughty nurses on a webside? Or watch an episode of Grey's Anatomy?
Then again if the setting is under the Reign of Blood, then you could likely see quite promiscuous Battle-Nuns.

Lol, but the point is to write something new and different. And theyre not necessarily naughty! Look they ain't normal people, think about the Grey Knights, they are not likely to run around to get laid either, same goes for the other Space Marines, plus their sperm likely dissolves any female part so this gets quite icky. Also only one SOB has ever fallen to Chaos, Slaanesh and she certainly ain't doing it as she is sealed inside her armour. Convents don't like their nuns dating pure and simple. But having it under the Reign of Blood, and I at least can accept it. Nowadays I don't think it would be a very safe thing to mention sex for the Sisters of Battle, as they are sort of in penitence for their precursors being the Brides of the Emperor. Black hair comes to mind, and no white doesn't stand for dateable. It stands for purity, so they ain't dateable either. At least that's my interpretation of their haircolors.

It may not be conventional, but I tend to keep my sight about 1.5-2" further forward than most. I'm kinda OCD when it comes to scratches and damage to my lenses. It drives me up the fething wall.
I think it's possible for the occasional sister to mess up. After all, the sisters repentia are repenting for something...

Astartes limited regeneratory capabilities and superhuman structure which includes tougher skin and high tolerance for pain would render basic wounds such as blisters as not a problem. Apothecary's would treat more serious issues like a hole in the stomach however
