So, just spray painted three rhinos with magenta paint (pre-heresy Ec - gotta love em).

It frosted. Like nobody's business.

What do I do now?

Wait, you mean the magenta paint frosted?

Or do you mean that you varnished a painted model and it frosted?

Can you provide some photos? I don't think I've ever seen spray paint frost.

I've seen spray paint dry weird when applied in very high humidity or very low temperatures, otherwise it's pretty reliable.

Well, If it comes to the point that you need to strip them, Isopropyl Alcohol takes care of most spray paints I've ever used, and its pretty cheap. As for your spray issue, I'd recommend shaking the bejeezus out of the cans and testing it on some sprue before the next time you spray. It may be a mix issue or you're spraying too far from the model.

Soak the models in simple green for half an hour and go at them with an old toothbrush.

Yea, you can just soak it in simple green to remove the paint and try again.

I'd soak em for like 2-3 DAYS though, not hours, then just hit em with a toothbrush.
