Good afternoon all!

I present to you for your comments, criticism, and hopefully praise, my Librarian in Terminator Armour.
I had a lot of fun with this miniature, it was the first time I've really worked with blues and I'm pleased with the result. I've also begun thinning my paints out a heck of a lot more and I believe it's helping me a lot.
The only thing I'm not happy with is my photography...leaves a lot to be desired.

Anyway, any comments would be appreciated Especially constructive criticism!
Thanks!

NC.

P.S. DA Librarian in Terminator Armour...I'm assuming should be Deathwing? I was tempted to paint the shoulder pad Bleached Bone but the codex has it DA Green so I went with that ^^. This model was painted 90% Vallejo Game Colours.
P.P.S. The base is terrible...I think I'll rip him off that and rebase to something a bit more heroic haha.

Is that a Finecast one? I'm looking for the usual problems, but I can't see any. You've either done a really good job of cleaning up, or you got a stonking cast. :-)

You could prbably do with softening the highlights a little on the extremes - toes and backs of the legs- just go and gently glaze each side of the highlight with UM blue or enchanted blue (some mid blue anyway) to knock the hashness off. It'll look a load better for very little effort.

Hi!

No it's the old metal one - I too was really pleased with the metal cast for this one! The face was really well turned out.
But yeah I spent a while cleaning it up.

And thanks for the tip - I must admit I haven't gone over the highlights with any glazing and now that I've photographed it I can see some pretty harsh gradients

Bear in mind my rubbish photography skills haha. Too impatient to set up a lightbox today!
