Subject: Camouflauge netting, how to make it look good?

I am just finishing off a Normandy Armoured Squadron for FoW and my Shermans are looking pretty dull and badly in need of something to make them more interesting. The obvious answer would be some kind of scrim netting.
I have had a quick look online but the I didn't find anything that used already painted tanks. I was just going to try glueing on some pre painted gauze but I'm not sure if that would work.
Any suggestions?

The prefect example of someone missing the point.
Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.
-Leman Russ, Meditations on Imperial Command book XVI (AKA the RT era White Dwarf Commpendium).
Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

some fruits sell in small nets.
so time to buy some fruit, throw away the fruits, and you will have yourself an awesome net!!!
you can glue small pieces of paper to it, prime it black and go over it with some shades of green or brownish yellow

I can't link as posting this off my mobile but go in the painting showcase and look for ash 1 imperial guard. I don't know what page its on but there is a link to how he does his netting. And if not just find him to look at his tanks they are awsome.

You can use older style medical guaze.they also see it online under 1/48 and 1/35 camo net.
But take guaze rollin a ball and dip in wash to tint it.
I use camoshade then when dry nuin oil.
Once this is dry,dip the net in water, wring out the excess and place the net.
A wet net is nesessary to get that saggy look.
Once you are happy with placement, seal in place with 2-3 coats of matt varnish
And remember less is more

Cheese cloth (available at most car care stores) is the best match I have come across so far. The fiber weave/thread spacing scales quite well with most table top sized vehicles. Dusting the cloth with a weathering powder that matches your camo colors will can add an extra bit of depth.
