I know this is not the most competitive list, was just a list i was thinking of using instead of my regular DoA list at club nights. simply for a change in playstyle and to use some other models i own.

just wanted to know some peoples opinions as i dont want it to be a complete walk in the park for my opponents.

Well, the single Land Raider is a easy target in a high points list like this, you really need two for target saturation.

Tactical Squads aren't very good in B.A lists, Assault Marines are way better and Scouts hold objectives for cheaper.

Agreed. You could get 2 more assault squads with PF and meltas and I think it might fit the list better

Run the libby with the LR and use it to shield the assault squads. The shield from the libby should be enough to keep most of them safe untill they reach your opponent.

You may have some problems with a fast, long range army (Mech-dar, DE) as you don't have any long range shooting

yeah i would much prefer to use assault squads, however i dont own anymore :( the next two squads im hoping to get are going to have magnetized jump packs so i can put them in a transport if i want to.

this list was just meant for a bit of fun really, a more competitive list im working towards consists of 4 assault squads, two librarians, a chaplain, some priests and 3 predators with autocannon lascannons (2000 pts)

Your Competitive list sounds about right. I would keep the tactical squads but magnetize their backs for jump packs. I bout two of those BA starter boxes. 10x DC , 10x Assault , 20 x Tactical , 2 x Rhinos. . . needless to say, I will add the Melta guns, jump packs, and all the arms needed for 40 x Assaults that can actual win. The Rhinos will have magnetized options to be Predators of all types.

I wonder about the Hammer though. . . you think 2 hammers 2 fist would work well? What about a terminator Librarian in a squad with a chain fist?

why not add the libby in the ternimator squad?

the librarian has a jump pack so cant join the terminators, plus i wanted to field gabriel seth just for some fun, also as my army is blood ravens using the BA codex, i thought he resembled the captains from dawn of war quite well

i ment switch to terminator armor and join them multiple units can join squads you know

oh ok, yeah i know you can have multiple IC in squads but wanted an assault squad to be buffed, as i think Seth and the terminator squad have enough combat ability alone.

He can join the Terminator unit if you want. He just has to move 6".
