Name is Skragfist. Long Time wannabe who finally has scoured enough second hand minis to start an army.
My Plan is to get a healthy sized IG Army going also with some fluffy storytelling going so that I can have my own little company to command . So Far I got this going:

Ironed Cestus has been in service as long as most troops can remember. It's archaic design has been one of it's deciding factors in any deployment. It has been hypothesised by many a mechanicians that the machine spirit loves to explore and has yet to brake down, it has been known to shrug off the most grevious wounds that have fell it's services brothers and sisters. Iron Cestus is currently under the command of Lt. Ryan O. Husker of the 22nd Sceana Expeditionary Fleet.


First off is my chimera variant. I have never really been a fan of the forward facing turret. so I slightly pushed it further back giving it a nice silloutte. I really enjoy this look on it because it gives it a little more of a modern APC style.This is also my first foray into devation from a standard kit, in fact I tossed the instructions it came with!



As you can see i have also chopped the heavy stubber and re-attached it to the targeter lense on the multi-laser. This because I will have Lt. Husker pointing out of the hatch on top, I feel as though having the stubber mounted on the hatch would be having too much happening on top and would take away from what I was planning on doing with him. Hopefully he will soon make an appearance. The smoke launchers will be filed and drilled as soon as possible. If you noticed I used a bit from the old Leman Russ Tank and a housing for sai smoke launchers.

I think it looks awesome man. Honestly, I don't think that adding a commander would be too much, and the stubber is perfectly placed btw.

The whole reason the turret is up front is because the rear of the vehicle is where all the passengers go. The turret basket, crew, ammo, etc are all going to take up a fair amount of room in something that's supposed to be able to transport 12 guardsmen(which is already stretching belief somewhat).

I agree it does make for a nice silhouette, but it's just hard to overlook all of the other stuff.

Update, Added Some veterans to roll around in the Chimera. Everyone needs a ride; Shotgun Veterans. After moving and finally unboxing warhammer I am back into or at least I hope I am.


Veteran Sergeant "Leviathan" Levvy has seen hellish wastlands and lucious jungles since his journey on the Sceana Expedition. It is said he lost his eye when he tried to stare down a daemon on the planet of Tirin IV, after besting it single combat he was awarded Daemon Bane. A master crafted powerfist that once belonged to a Governor Millatant of mediocre renown. An Iron reslove and an Iron will often find him in the very forefront of an assualt. His subordinates much like him choosing to carry arbite grade shotguns and toting melta-guns to deal with any and all problems.
