If you're dead-set on a proxy for McBain, maybe you could try out epic Nemo. He at least maintains a somewhat similar physical appearance (albeit a bit less bulky than McBain) while not being quite so... moustachey.

If it makes you feel better about the mustache, I once saw a McBain model painted like Hulk Hogan.
Honestly anyone with a pistol and longsword would me an ok proxy, but if you want something a bit more tournament legal (well, something a TO is less likely to reject) try a devil dog with weapon swaps and boiler.
