Subject: mordrak and paladins? a competitive choice or just for fun?

have you ever thought about dropping 10 fully equipped paladins anywhere on the board on first turn?
well this week I have been toying with that idea; since one of the main issue with paladins is their movility and the need of being scoring I thought that mordrak would be a great combination with them, he would make them scoring on an objective game, give them some more hammer power, both with his deamon hammer and with his hammerhand, and last but not least his first to the fray ability.
what do you think? any suggestions?

What about a risky idea, stay away from plasma option? Seems like a seriously slanted little poll here.
For the record, I would love to face this with any of my lists. It would feel epic to defeat that many GK elites, and I really don't think it would be tough. You'll need some henchmen/meat shields to keep enemy guns busy.
By my calculations you'll have spent well over 900+ points on this (that's 55 Grey Hunters with 11 plasma guns, 6 plasma pistols, and 165 attacks on the charge... ufta).

Sorry. Not possible.
Mordrak is not an Independent Character. Thus he cannot join other squads and bring them in, though other IC's can join his unit of ghost knights and come in with them.

Closest thing you can get is to attach a libby with a teleport homer and pray the unit survives long enough for your DSing pallies...

Mordrak with ghost knights and libby. First turn deep strike and fire off warp rift I think its called. Rest of the army is heading across the board but ether enemy is dealing with h the first squad in their face turn 1.

Mordrak can provide an alpha strike in first turn. The problem is how to support him and his squad so that they can stay alive for a while? Shunting DKs and turboboosting SRs would be an option.
